Cool Modified Cars

Nismo who has long been the Super Tuning Arm of Nissan Japan has delivered on its all new line of special editions 370Z’s. Building on the lessons learned and the great acclaim that the first generation Nismo 350Z received; the 370Z is a teenager’s wet dream. Nissan says this car will “bring race inspired performance and engineering to the street.” This limited production vehicle has been thoroughly tuned inside and out.

Stiff Suspension

Nismo engineers made the 370Z a whole lot stiffer to provide better handling and stability than the base model 370Z which is an already great platform to build on. Spring rates are increased 15% and 10% front and rear respectively. The front strut bar has been upped 15%, but it is the rear strut bar that has been stiffened by a whopping 50%! The dampening rates have been increased by 40% and 140% front to rear which make this factory car a track killer!

Ballz to the Wall Performance

What make the Nissan 370Z such a great platform is the rear-wheel drive front engine mounted design. True sports cars live and die by this piece of engineering. And the Nismo tuned car packs a mighty punch! The 3.7-liter V-6 engine punches out 350 HP at a lofty 7,400 RPM’s and 276 lb-ft. of torque. All this wrapped plus a close-ration six-speed manual transmission. I am glad Nissan kept the driver involved by sticking with a true manual. The best part of this drivetrain is the new technology called “Synchro Rev Match.” This automatically blips the throttle during shifts so that no RPM’s are lost. Pretty Sweet!

Some Nice Kicks and Brakes to Boot

The Nismo edition 370Z comes with a set of huge 19-inch RAYS forged rims which have been a long time favorite of tuners everywhere. Tire duty is taken care of by super sticky Yokohama ADVAN high performance tires. Serious Business! The brakes are 14-inch Nismo pieces that feature lightweight aluminum calipers. There is also a limited slip differential to help with those huge power slides.

Rock That Body

The Nismo 370Z features a full body kit consisting of front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a wing that all combine to provide some nice additional down force. The available colors are white, silver, black, red, and graphite.

Interior Design

Nismo did not forget to pimp the interior of this car. You get a set of cool seats with Nismo logos and red and black stitching. Aluminum trimmed pedals and a leather shift know compliment the style. You also get a special plaque that guarantees Nismo authenticity and some cool gauges. These are a ton of standard accessories like push button start, excellent sound system, navigation, and power everything.

This Nismo 370Z will definitely be a collector’s item if you don’t run the doors of the thing in the meantime!
