Starting with the engine, an HKS Stroker Kit was installed to increase displacement to 2.3 liters.  The extra 300cc helps to spool the turbo and make plenty of low end torque.  A plethora of JUN engine parts were thrown into the mix including camshafts, titanium valves, springs, and bolts.  A stock Evolution IX turbo pushing 21 lbs. of boost hangs from an Unlimited Works exhaust manifold.  The spent gasses exit out a J-Speed outlet and continue to make their way out through an Unlimited Works titanium exhaust.  An HKS Intercooler is in charge of cooling the intake temperature, while an Altrak intake shoves the air into the combustion chambers.  A Tomei fuel rail controls the 800cc/min. injectors and the whole tuning process is brought in order by an HKS F-Con Pro map from legendary tuner Cyber Evo.  Everything on the cooling side has been upgraded including the radiator and water pump. A Cusco catch can is there to collect oil.  Transmission duties are handled by an Exedy Clutch and Cusco differential.  Final power numbers are a healthy 424 HP and 398 lb-ft. of torque.

The body sports some of the most wicked looking JDM parts available.  Voltex was contacted to address the body tuning and a street version Cyber Evo bumper was installed complete with a carbon fiber lip and canards.  Wider Voltex Fenders were added to increase the amount of rubber the Evo could handle.  A sweet Voltex carbon fiber hood was also installed.  Voltex side skirts which have functional ducts also made their way onto the Evolution 8.  Craft Square Mirrors add some flair as does a huge Voltex GT carbon fiber wing.  Rounding out the giant list of body mods is a carbon fiber diffuser also from Voltex.

On the suspension side of life, the unlimited Evo VIII sports gorgeous 19-inch Advan RS Wheels wrapped in super wide 275-series Bridgestone Potenza R tires.  Since the exterior and engine got the most expensive top of the line JDM parts, it should be no surprise that the suspension also got the royal treatment.  Ohlin’s adjustable dampers sit atop Bestex springs.  A ton of other small suspension upgrades were made and this car is tuned for track use especially to Unlimited Works specifications.  Finally, an AP Racing brake kit replaces the already capable Brembo system for fade-resistance track time.

The driver is lavished with the best interior accessories known to man.  First, Recaro Pro Racer seats were sourced while Takata Racing harnesses keep the driver firmly in place.  There is a custom Defi Sports Cluster that has a 9K RPM Redline and Orange LED display.  And an Alcantara steering wheel from Key!s finishes off this insane Evolution.

With a huge amount of SUPER RARE JDM parts and accessories; the Unlimited Works Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII is one of the finest most complete examples of a modified car that exists today!

The Release Series line-up of Scion vehicles has been a great selling point for the Toyota Scion nameplate.  These Special Edition automobile sell out quickly and will someday become a definite collector’s item.  A limited run of 1,100 Scion tC RS 6.0’s will be built with an MSRP around $18k-$19k.

First thing you notice besides the Speedway Blue color is the lack of TRD parts.  The last Scion tC RS 5.0 version had a couple of added components like an exhaust, sway bar, lowering springs, and rims.  Well this 2010 Scion Release Series 6.0 lacks all the above but does have some great technological upgrades.

The centerpiece of the interior is a cool 200-watt Alpine Radio and Navigation console.  The Alpine has a 4.3 inch touch screen, USB/iPod interface, with HD Radio.  The navigation system is top of the line with a GPS system, voice guided directions, and a 3D map view.

The exterior of the car is covered in Scion’s Speedway Blue paint which is only available on the tC Release Series 6.0 and a cool matte black stripe runs down the length of the body.  The seats and steering wheel of the RS 6.0 also has that same blue trim used as an accent piece.

Now the last model went for a cool grand less and you got all the cool TRD parts and most importantly the cool 18-inch matte black rims.  This Scion Release Series 6.0 is more expensive but still a value when you figure that only 1100 will be made.

Everyone in the automotive world has heard of Carroll Shelby, and everyone at one time or another has drooled at the thought of owing a 1969 Shelby GT 500 Mustang. This is probably the most famous Ford vehicle of all time. Well Shelby Autos has been producing performance parts for many years now. There are quite a few performance packages, parts, and body pieces for almost every year of Mustang. But recently Shelby decided to take a swing at the truck world with the Super Snake package for the 2003-2008 Ford F-150.

Shelby developed some serious horsepower for the 5.4L V-8 Ford engine. This is the same engine in multiple mustangs so extracting the horsepower was no problem for Shelby Autos. The centerpiece of engine tuning is the massive Whipple Supercharger that sucks in cold air via the functional hood scoop. Once the air is compressed and fed into the engine, it travels out a full Borla Exhaust system. Power is transferred through 3.73 rear gears.

The exterior of this truck has received a massive amount of new parts. The fiberglass hood has a unique look. There is a new front bumper fascia compete with a nice new mesh grill. There is also a carbon fiber splitter at the bottom of the bumper. There are new fenders both in front and out back. The tonneau cover has a sweet little lip. There are a myriad of fender and brake ducts that are also functional. Completing the exterior mods is a couple of signature badges.

The interior sports a black and red leather treatment complete with numbered dash plaque. The rims are 22-inch units by Alcoa. Tucked ever so nicely behind these massive rollers are a set of Baer big brake systems at all four corners. Finally a DJM suspension set this truck off with a 3 inch drop.

Whether or not you are a fan of trucks; one fact remains. You cannot argue with 475 hp. Cost for the full treatment is $30k, but half of that goes toward the comprehensive body modifications.

When deciding which new cars to modify, Tommy Kaira’s President doesn’t just pick the most popular, newly released car.  He chooses a car which he can be passionate about; and that adoration will hopefully be felt by those who purchase a signature car.  It only took one ride in the R35 GTR to cement its future spot in the Tommy Kaira line-up.   And this car was given a special title; the Ebbrezza-R name means intoxication in French and is a great descriptor of the R35.

Tommy Kaira went all out on this new JDM GTR.  Just about every important piece of the R35 that could be tuned for the better has been done so by Tommy Kaira.  This includes the body kit, wheels and tires, Interior, brakes, suspension, and exhaust.  The absolute latest technology was included in the tuning of this already legendary super car.

Usually Tommy Kaira customers just buy a complete car at a marked up price and this is generally what is expected.  But the company has made a new strategic move towards selling individual parts for the New Nissan GTR.  The Body has been tuned with carbon fiber parts that give the GTR a sinister look.  Many parts have been created out of Wet Carbon Fiber for the main body pieces.  The Tommy Kaira front style GTR kit is made up of 4 parts: a front bumper, grill, lip spoiler, and under diffuser.  Price on the front style body parts comes in at a hefty $7000.  When you add in the other Carbon Fiber parts for the outside of the GTR the price swells to $18,700; but in includes many more aero parts, a; of which are super cool and more importantly functional.  Rounding out the rest of the body kit modifications are: a pair of side skirts, rear underspoiler, diffuser, fender extensions, a wing, a myriad of fender ducts and finishing pieces.

The suspension has been addressed with a full JDM Quantum Super Sports Coilover system that nets a $7000 price tag.  The brakes have also been upgraded with a high performance system consisting of Endless monoblock  6-POT calipers on huge 390mm rotors.  The mounting hardware, brake lines and pads are also included in this kit which retails for $20K.  The rims are AVS F15 wheels in black that measure 20-inches and come wrapped with 255/285 series Pirelli P-Zero tires.

There is a Titanium High Performance Exhaust available for $3800 which represents a great value.  There will also be an ECU upgrade on the way, but Tommy Kaira is still in the tuning stages so horsepower gains are not available.  Finally rounding out the modifications is a full leather interior upgrade and carbon fiber accent kit.  Prices for these have not been released.  You can also get Tommy Kaira badges for the GTR and special edition Recaro seats.

The Tommy Kaira represents one of the only fully tuned Nissan GTR’s to be produced by a reputable JDM tuning company.  This car is so new that its legendary status is not yet realized, and you can bet the Tommy Kaira R35 GTR Ebbrezza-R will be a collector’s item in the near future.

Don’t really know very much about this Corvette, but I know I like it!  Check out the dope rims and the subtle carbon fiber add-ons!

The LSA engine that powers the Corvette ZR-1 already has close to 650 HP on tap.  So it really took nothing more than a cold air intake, smaller supercharger pulley, and engine tuning to up the ante in the CTS-V to over 600 HP.  Getting another 100 Horsepower out of the LSA followed the normal big displacement upgrade path.  A few other bolt-ons such as new headers and a high flow exhaust open up the airways, while a new intercooler takes care of the intake charge.  The other modifications are done to heads which include a high flow head and camshaft upgrade.

Final power numbers check in at 707 HP and 701 lb-ft. of torque.  This is enough to rocket the Cadillac CTS-V from 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.  The ¼ is eclipsed in 10.9 seconds and the CTS-V will top out at a mind blowing 211 MPH! Now keep in mind the Cadillac CTS-V weights in at a hefty 4200 pounds!  This luxury rocket will destroy almost any car with a full leather interior will all the amenities you could possibly want.  What’s the price on this package you might ask?  Who knows….and who cares, because I want one!

The R32 generation Nissan Skyline has been a favorite of most GTR aficionados since the 1990’s.  This is generation that put Skyline’s on the map.  Still considered to be the best looking Skyline of the bunch; the R32 holds a special place in the heart of every JDM enthusiast.  This modified Skyline is owned my Christian Coujin and has been featured all over the place.
The Skyline is outfitted with an ultra clean Do Luck body kit consisting of a front bumper and side skirts. The Do Luck Carbon GT Wing hangs off the rear like an old skool dragster.  The mirrors, grill, and taillight covers are all made from carbon fiber.

Nothing looks better then Advan rims on a car, and this GTR has a nice set of 18×10 RGII rims wrapped in Kumho Ecsta tires.  Super expensive Ohlins coilovers drop the ride height while the car is stiffened by a myriad of struts, braces, cross bars, and trailing arms from Nismo and Do Luck.  Huge Brembo brakes bring the car to a screeching hault.

The real gem of this Nissan Skyline is the engine bay.  Super clean and shiny; this RB26DETT has been thoroughly made over with the best JDM parts available.  The turbo’s have been replaced with IHI units.  The compressed air is cooled via a gigantic Blitz front mount intercooler that looks right at home in the Do Luck bumper.   SARD parts provide the fuel while Tomei adjustable gears orchestrate the HKS 264 cams.  A’pexi is in control of the engine management.  The oiling of this beast is done by a JUN oil pump and Greddy Oil cooler and catch can.   Every part of the engine that can be polished has been!

This Skyline can sure turn heads with its awesome Do Luck body kit and striking Advan rims.

So what is the recipe for creating an excising Ford Fusion?  Well take one stock 4-cylinder base model with a six-speed transmission.  Slap on a Turbonectics Turbo and an Intercooler and you have a good starting point of 300 Horsepower.  Throw in a stainless-steel exhaust for some grumble.  Add an H&R Street-Performance Coilover suspension.   Big 20-inch rims give some bling to the exterior along with a custom paint-job and blacked out trim accessories.  The interior receives Katzkin leather, carbon fiber pieces, and a boomin’ Kicker Audio sound system.  And now you have a Ford Fusion that qualifies as a cool modified car!

Dubbed the Black Force One, this Chevrolet Corvette combines style and power to create on nasty ride!  LOMA Performance out of Germany has taken a stock Corvette C6 to the extreme.   This limited edition car will have a production run of 25 vehicles making this car a rare one indeed.  If you have an extra $250k in your pocket might as well spend it on maybe the meanest muscle car in the world!

The stock Corvette LS3 engine belts out over 430 horsepower from 6.2 liters of displacement.  Well the Loma Performance ups the ante to a blistering 780 HP!  This is due to the addition of two turbochargers.  The engine exhaust exits through a super lightweight sport exhaust system.  Power is transferred through a carbon clutch down a carbon fiber driveshaft to reduce weight.  The BlackForce One Corvette rockets from 0-60 MPH in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 205 MPH.  This is ultimate supercar territory; a Bugatti Veyron is about the only thing that accelerates faster!

The handling chores are taken care of by a full set of LOMA-coilovers.  These are multi-adjustable and feature settings to adjust rebound and dampening.  Some sweet gloss black OZ Ultraleggera rims fill up the wheel gap while Michelin Sport tires wrap said rims.  A super high tech braking system is employed and features carbon fiber and ceramic components which drastically reduce weight.

Pretty much every aspect of this Corvette has been modified.  The interior is full of carbon fiber and supple leather.  The wide body kit sports all carbon fiber pieces including a front clip, side skirts, and rear diffuser.  You can opt for the carbon fiber adjustable wing also.  And this car comes in 3 special colors to boot! The great thing about Japanese car manufacturers is that many parts are interchangeable between makes.  Just look to Honda and the variety of engine swaps that fit into a myriad of little cars.  The Nissan 300ZX is a worthy car in the long history of Z-cars.  This bad boy cam loaded with a twin-turbo dual-cam engine.  But this 300ZX is unlike any other.  While most work around the cramped spaces of the VG30DET engine bay, Russ Tennyson had something more magical up his sleeve; a RB26DETT engine out of a Nissan Skyline.

Let’s just get right down to numbers; this Nissan 300ZX pumps out 416-hp on the dyno.  Not the huge numbers you were thinking?  Well this is only on low boost at one bar (14psi).  There is plenty of room for growth, but the budget calls for a reasonable build.  A JUN crankshaft and cam gears were installed into the RB engine along with some bigger RC injectors.  The Turbo is a Garrett GT35R with a Greddy fuel rail and Type-R blow-off valve releasing air between shifts.

Old Skool Regamaster 17-inch rims fill the wheel wells while TEIN coilovers round out the suspension mods.  A JUN body kit and Moss Pearl paint job finish off the modification on this Z32.  While this is not the ultimate Nissan 300ZX, it shows what kind of abnormal path a tuner can take in building a project.
