Modified Lancer Evolution X
Building a true dual purpose car that has both show and go can be a tedious process. At what point do you trade civility for speed? Can you really have a daily driver that can win the most prestigious awards and land the cover on a magazine? The answer is yes, and this tuned Lancer Evolution X is a prime example.
The Evo X is still a fairly new car to the market and there are very few shining examples. But this beast has the best parts from the show and go world of tuning.
Starting under the hood, the 4B11T MIVEC engine comes stock with 291-hp and 300lb-ft of torque. But this gem has been upgraded with an AFI turbo manifold made from high grade titanium, an intake from HKS, Greddy blow-off valve and boost controller, and an AGP Intercooler. ECU Tek tuned, all this adds up to a total of 359-hp and 353 lb-ft of torque, which is not too shabby considering the turbo itself is still stock. A plethora of Mishimoto parts have made their way onto the car including a radiator and hose kit to help out with the cooling.
The drivetrain is strengthened with a Spec Stage 2 clutch kit with a Works short shifter kit. The suspension is handled by BC coilovers, a Robi Spec sway bar, and a Cusco rear strut bar. Works brake pads coupled with Brembo calipers take care of the stopping power.

The sweet body tuning is handled by APR who provided the awesome GT300 wing, mirrors, roof mounted vortex generator, and front lip spoiler. A TiTek carbon fiber hood rounds out the body armor while the entire car was covered in BITCHEN purple candy paint!
Inside the driver is held in place by a Takata harness attached to super rare Bride Lo-Max seats made from Kevlar. There are a variety of engine monitoring gauges to keep things in check.
Finally gorgeous Gun Metal LE37 18-inch rims wrapped in Toyo T1-R tires put the power to the pavement.

very nice, however i think the evo 10 has lost its appeal, unlike older models
when mitsubishi would come with their hybrid sports model? this time we need to think to reduce the fuel application….
A hybrid? What…you are mising the point of the Evolution X. Its about horsepower an excess….if you want fuel economy then buy a Prius
