I couldn’t even imagine driving a car like this. The thought of the standard LS3 outfitted with two turbos seems quasi-frightening (in a good way of course). It’s insanely fast stock!

The new Corvette C6 was decided to boast a performance level of the current Z06 model. Chevrolet wanted the base model to be as powerful as their current 400 hp top of the line Z06. Along with this added horsepower, they wanted speed. Comfortable top speed in the 180 mph range

I love the Germans! These guys really know how to optimize stuff! 430HP to 780HP, this is almost double power increase! I bet our US engineers could make it somewhat better too in the means of power – if Germans got to make it almost 100% more powerful, then GM-engineers could do better from the beginning and missed somewhere…
