RE Amemiya Mazda RX-7

We are at a time when classic modified cars are still the best looking things out there. And the most gorgeous of the old JDM turbocharged era was the Mazda RX-7. For over 3 generations the FD3S model and last version of the RX-7 has had some great sex appeal. Beside the perfect line on this car, it had a unique power plant in the 13B rotary engine. At only 1.3 liters the rotary engine produced a healthy 255 HP. That kind of power in a light chassis equaled one of the best cars to ever come out of Japan.
This Mazda RX-7 is a Type RZ-fifth anniversary commemorative edition. Thankfully it was not kept stock. Instead it has been transformed into a street monster. Under the hood the RX-7 has received a Greddy TD-06 25G TURBO upgrade. The intercooler has been upgrade and now has the V-Mount. Larger fuel injectors and fuel pump add the juice. An SARD regulator provides stable supply of gas. All this adds up to 355 HP. An Apexi Power FC takes care of the tuning chores. The Transmission and clutch have been upgraded with ACT parts.

The body is probably the best part of this car. Nothing but the best body kit in the world was chosen. The RX-7 sports an RE Anemiya widebody kit. And the PIMP RE Amemiya GTII carbon fiber wing tops it all off.

Handling chores are “handled” by Apexi N1 coilovers. The rims are huge 18-inch Work Meister S1 Dual piece wheels, front wheels 9 inches, and 12 inches out back with a deep lip style. Couple this with 235/40/18 front, 265/35/18 Dunlop DZ 101 High Street tires and high performance Alcon six-piston calipers and brake pads equals top performance on the street.

The interior uses a lot of carbon fiber package, including EVOR carbon fiber door panels, instrument panels, seats, instrument panel and center console. A Nardi steering wheel is present. And a half roll cage is present. There is a ton of Rockford-Fosgate audio equipment too.

This is probably one of the coolest JDM modified RX-7’s I have seen in awhile. Love the classic JDM cars of yesteryear.
